Established in 1988, Kleer Ice Supplies is a family-owned Queensland business that offers services in all things ice. Supplying throughout South East QLD, Kleer Ice Supplies manufacture bagged and block ice for retail and commercial customers as well as supplying hire fridges, cool rooms and freezers.
Kleer Ice Supplies run their own fleet of delivery trucks as well as several light vehicles for their service and administration staff. Currently purchasing fuel from the local service station; Kleer Ice Supplies wanted an onsite fuelling solution to cut downtime and increase efficiency. With the delivery of ice products, as you can imagine, time is critical!
Through Fuelchief’s marketing efforts, the owner of the business contacted Fuelchief’s Denis Dardengo to discuss depot refuelling. With Kleer Ice Supplies fuel usage calculated (try yourself using our tank savings calculator), the tank best suited for the job was a Fuelchief DC Series DC25 fuel tank. With a safe fill of 2,370 litres, this efficiently sized tank allows for flexible bulk fuel deliveries from the local fuel supplier; providing Kleer Ice Supplies economical fuel purchases.
Fuelchief was able to showcase the tank and a simple to use 240v Fuelchief pump kit with a 10m hose reel was worked out to be a great solution for fuelling the Kleer Ice Supplies fleet. Denis from the Fuelchief team outlined the value of the entire package to the owner and Kleer Ice Supplies decided to go ahead and purchase the Fuelchief DC25 and pumping package.
After the purchase of the DC25; Kleer Ice Supplies showed considerable savings, not only in the cost of bulk fuel, but just as important, time savings for the drivers and operators being able to fuel onsite at the Kleer Ice Supplies depot.
