Velcon Aquacon Filter Element 25 Micron – to suit VF-61

Velcon Aquacon filter element to fit into VF-61 housing to effectively remove dirt, rust and particulates from fuel. This model has a larger surface area to filter larger particulates.

Aquacon cartridges filter out water by chemically locking it into layers of super-absorbent media. Water removal efficiency is not affected by surfactants or additives, and once captured, the water cannot be squeezed out.

Water capacity is as much as 11/2 quarts, depending on the flow rate. These cartridges also effectively filter out dirt, rust and other particulates. As a cartridge reaches its water-holding limit, the media
expands very rapidly and restricts the flow.

This Velcon Aviation Fuel Filter Cartridge is a 0.5 micron element for a VF-61 housing. This OS series combination coalescer/separator cartridges filter dirt and remove water from aviation fuels. Performance is improved due to Teflon® coated screen separators and reliable radial sump seals. OS-51288 Cartridge is Laboratory tested to 0.2% water in incoming fuel, less-than 10 ppm in effluent.
